If your Hetzner account were gone tomorrow, how long would you be offline?
Paste an API token and see how each of your servers would leave Hetzner as a bootable file, which of them keep data on a volume that needs its own copy, and how long each export would take. Cloud servers only. A read-only token is enough here; the paid export needs read and write. Nothing is stored — the token is used for two read calls and forgotten before this page is sent back.
What this page does with the token
Two read calls to the Hetzner API — the server list and the snapshot list — made from our server during this request. The token is then dropped from memory. It is not written to a database, a log or a cookie, and it never reaches your browser again. Revoke it in the Hetzner console afterwards if you like; nothing here depends on it.
Why volumes matter: they are outside every Hetzner image, so the server leaves without them and they need a copy of their own.
